Workshops, courses, and structured frameworks designed to help you develop emotional regulation, clarity, and intentional response— starting where you are, right now.
Practice is not the thing you do once you're good. It's the thing that makes you good. The Practice Group
What We Build
Every program we offer is grounded in these core capacities—practical, learnable, and measurable in daily life.
Recognize, understand, and navigate your emotional responses with skill rather than reactivity.
Cut through noise and distraction to think and communicate with precision and purpose.
Build frameworks for sound reasoning and consistent decision-making under pressure.
Move from automatic reaction to chosen action—responding to life on your own terms.
How We Teach
Our programs are non-clinical, practical, and designed for people who are ready to do the work.
Focused, single-session experiences that deliver practical tools you can use immediately. Available in-person and online.
Multi-week programs with guided frameworks, exercises, and community to build lasting change over time.
Frameworks, exercises, and reference materials you keep and return to—designed for daily life, not a classroom shelf.

Our Story & Mission
The Practice Group was founded on a simple conviction: the skills that most support human flourishing—emotional regulation, clear thinking, intentional choice—are learnable. They are not reserved for those in therapy or those who've already figured it out. They are practical, teachable, and available to anyone willing to practice.
Our Mission
To offer structured, non-clinical learning experiences that support personal growth, stability, and improved daily functioning through practical skill-building and guided frameworks.
What We Stand For
Every tool and framework we offer has to work in real life—not just in a seminar room.
Growth is not a privilege. Our programs are approachable regardless of prior experience or background.
We are an educational platform. We do not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical care.
Insight without structure rarely leads to change. We design programs with clear sequences and measurable progress.
Every learner walks in with knowledge and wisdom. Our role is to supplement, never to lecture or diminish.
We build habits and frameworks that compound over time—because that's how lasting change works.
Meet the Founder
Founder · Mental Health & Behavioral Change
My name is Jocelyn Martinez, and I'm the founder of The Practice Group, LLC. My background is in mental health and behavioral change, but what I've realized is that many people don't just need awareness — they need practical tools they can actually use in real life.
Through workshops, groups, and community-based programs, I help individuals and organizations strengthen emotional regulation, communication, decision-making, and personal stability in a way that is practical, structured, and impactful.
What makes our approach different is that we focus on teaching people how to respond differently under pressure — because one controlled response can change relationships, families, workplaces, and even entire life directions.
